We discussed the size, accuracy, measurement range, and sampling rate of a prototype model of the micro BT system. For frequent use in actual fishing operation, recharging of the power and data transmission are performed through electromagnetic coupling coils without cable connection. The system was tested repeatedly by attaching the probe to a longline during fishing operations in the central tropical Pacific.
