南方カツオ (Katsuwonus pelamis LINNAEUS) の食性とカツオ幼魚の出現状況 Iizuka, Keiki 飯塚, 景記 イイヅカ, ケイキ Iizuka 飯塚 イイヅカ Keiki 景記 ケイキ Asano, Masahiro 浅野, 政宏 アサノ, マサヒロ Asano 浅野 アサノ Masahiro 政宏 マサヒロ Naganuma, Akira 永沼, 璋 ナガヌマ, アキラ Naganuma 永沼 ナガヌマ Akira 璋 アキラ metadata only access To study the feeding habits of adult skipjack tuna and the distribution of young skipjack tuna, we looked at the vomit (prey animals) of adult skipjack tuna caught in the tropical seas of the western Pacific Occean. Skipjack tuna frequently spew out their stomach contents on the deck of the fishing boat after being caught by pole and line. We examined the contents of the vomit from adult skipjack caught by pole and line boats, T/V Yaizu and Shirochidori in the period from 1985 to 1988. Vomit contained mainly pelagic fishes (Engraulidae and Scombridae), coralfish (Acanthuridae and Holocentridae) and cephalopods, most of which were purpleback flying squid (Symlectoteuthis ouralaniensis). Young skipjack tuna were also usually detected in the vomit. Skipjack tuna, being one of the typically cannibalistic fishes, feed on their young. Young skipjack tuna with a fork-length in the range of 2-14 cm were also collected from vomit sample. They appeared primarily in the vomit of adult skipjack tuna caught in an area around 5°N, 140°-150°E. 1985~1988年における竿釣カツオの吐出物調査によって,カツォ稚幼魚をはじめ多くの餌生物が採集された.南方カツオの食性とともにカツォ稚幼魚の分布状況と体長組成を検討した結果,次の知見が得られた.1) 竿釣カツオの吐出物に出現する餌生物は,魚類が最も多く,次いで頭足類であった.魚類ではニシン目,フグ目,=ザダイ科,クロタチカマス科,マグロ属,カツオ等,多様な魚種が出現し,頭足類ではトビイカとチヂミタコブネが多かった.2) カツオは餌生物に対する選択性は弱く,分布量が多く捕食され易いものが主要な餌生物になると思われる.3) 竿釣カツオの吐出物調査は,吐出物内のカツオとマグロ属稚幼魚の出現状況からみて,効果的な稚幼魚採集方法と考えられる.4) カツオは成魚による稚幼魚の捕食という共食い の顕著な魚種である.カツオの共食いが,カツオ資源に及ぼしている影響を明らかにするためには,組織的な吐出物の収集方法を確立しなければならない.5) 体長2~28cmのカツオ稚幼魚が竿釣カツオの吐出物と流し浮刺網調査によって150尾採集された.これらの稚幼魚は,05°N周辺の熱帯水域での出現が多く,特に140°~150°Eの海域では流し浮刺網と吐出物の両者から出現した.この体長組成をみると,8,12,18,24cmにモードがみられるが,各体長群の分離は明確でない.今後,耳石の日周輪の観察等により,発生時期から幼魚までの生長過程を明らかにする必要がある. 東北区水産研究所 Tohoku Regional Fisheries Research Laboratory 1989-03-20 jpn departmental bulletin paper https://fra.repo.nii.ac.jp/records/2007359 tnf_k_51_107 https://agriknowledge.affrc.go.jp/RN/2010430704 日本農学文献記事索引(agriknowledge) AN00167637 0049-402X 東北区水産研究所研究報告 Bulletin of Tohoku Regional Fisheries Research Laboratory 51 10 107 116
