Polymorphism was observed at four loci, Aar(aspartate aminotransferase), Gpi (glucosephosphate isomerase), Odh(octanol dehydrogenase) and Pgm(phosphoglucomutase), while muscle protein (myogen) was found to be monomorphic. When the observed genotypes were compared with expected ones based on Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium, the slight excess of heterozygotes was observed at all polymorphic loci.
