          <datacite:description xml:lang="en" descriptionType="Abstract">Rheotaxic behaviour of young red seabream and black seabream was studied with circulation tank of channel length was about 2 meters. Both species revealed finely rheotaxic behaviour according to increase of current velocity, but the black seabream endured more strongly to current than the red seabream. Next, rheotaxic behaviour of fish was studied in case that the reef model wsa set on the center of the channel bottom. The model produced the change of flow in the channel divided to three current velocity zone, approximate to, faster than and slower than set current velocity, and fish moved between the current variation. In comparison of behaviour of two species, it cleared that the red seabream was apt to select more finely slower current velocity zone formed in the behind of the model to current direction than the black seabream did.</datacite:description>
