The Ricker or Beverton-Holt type models were well adapted to spawner-recruitment relationships of most species. For the next step, autocorrelation coefficients were calculated for the residuals using the models to examine their periodicity. As a result, clear three to seven years' cyclic fluctuations were found in many species, for example, three and six years' fluctuations for longfin kob (Atrobucca nibe) and a six years' one for yellow croaker (Larimichthys polyactis).
