コイ心房からの連続採血法 A technique for successive sampling of blood from the atrium of the carp Cyprinus carpio Yamamoto, Ken-ichi 山元, 憲一 ヤマモト, ケンイチ Yamamoto 山元 ヤマモト Ken-ichi 憲一 ケンイチ open access It was tried to set a polyethylene tube without any needle into the atrium of the carp from the lateral and ventral sides. This method is expected to be useful for the study of the gas exchange in gills for the following reasons : (1) The tube was set easily into the atrium because the atrium was a larger organ, compared with the ventral aorta, bulbus arteriosus, caudal vein, etc. from which the blood had been taken. (2) The oxygen saturation of the mixed venous blood in the resting condition was 40. 3± 2.4%, which was approximately the same value as the one obtained from the bulbus arteriosus.
