          <dc:description>A sea snail, Neptunea arthritica, was subjected to experiments of repeated fishing in July 1980 at ten stations in Lagoon Huren-ko, using seven trapping baskets at each station. The cumulative catch fits a cologarithmic curve; so, an estimate was made of the available population within the gathering area of the traps. Two cases were assumed, namely, a small and a large gathering area. As a result, the density of the available stock of snails longer than 40 mm in shell length and heavier than 10 g in body weight was calculated. It ranged from 0.30-2.84 and from 0.35-2.61 individuals/m2; from 11.4-107.9 and 13.3-99.2 g/m2 in the former and the latter case, respectively.</dc:description>
          <dc:description>ヒメエゾポラの資源密度を知るため,風蓮湖内の10定点で1980年7月につぶ籠による試験漁獲を行った。1定点につき7籠を用い2週間にわたり漁獲を毎日反復した。その結果,この籠により漁獲される個体(利用可能資源)の大きさは殻長40mm,体重10g以上であり,また,累積漁獲数の経日変化は余対数曲線によく適合した。この回帰式から得た利用可能資源個体数と籠の誘集範囲の2通りの推定面積とから利用可能資源密度をそれぞれ0.30~2.84または0.35~2.61個体/m2,11.4~107.9または13.3~99.2g/m2と試算した。</dc:description>
