実験室で飼育したモエビの幼生と稚エビ Larvae and Early Postlarvae of a Shrimp, Metapenaeus burkenroadi, Reared in the Laboratory Kurata, Hiroshi 3365 倉田, 博 クラタ, ヒロシ Pusadee, Vanitchkul Larval and early postlarval stages of Metapenaeus burkenroadi KUBO reared from eggs spawned in the laboratory are described and illustrated. Megalopa phase was established in the normal development of a penaeid shrimp. This is a transitional phase between planktonic zoea and benthic juvenile during which reconstructions of various body parts occurs, and the bottom living habit is adopted toward the end. Six stages in the nauplius, six stages in the zoea including protozoea and 2 stages in the megalopa were recognized.
