          <dc:description>Growth model of spotted sole Eopsetta grigorjewi from western waters of the Sea of Japan was revised using otolith analysis. Total length TL (cm) back calculation models from otolith radius R (mm) using biological intercept, TL=0.35+8.38R+0.166R 2 (female), TL=0.35+9.12R (male TL&lt;21.5), TL=4.57+7.30R (male TL&gt;21.5) and TL=0.35+8.57R+0.0714R 2 (both sexes) were taken. Total length at each ring formation (outer edge of opaque zone) was back calculated from mean radius using above models. Assuming age at i-th ring formation was i-0.5, the von Bertalanffy growth models, Lt=48.7 { 1 -e -0.158(t+0.610)} (female), L=33.4 { -e -0.303(t+0.380)} (male) and Lt=46.0 {1 -e -0.171(t+0.582)} (both sexes) were taken by non-linear least square method. BW (g) -TL relationships were quantified by BW=0.00253TL 3.41 (female), BW=0.00165TL 3.54 (male) and BW=0.00292TL 3.37 (both sexes). TL and standard length SL (cm) of both sexes showed clear linear relationship with regression line, TL=0.785+1.15SL (r=0.982).</dc:description>
