アワビ類の漁獲変動：エゾアワビの漁獲量と気候変動および種苗放流の関連について Catch fluctuation in Haliotis spp. abalones: annual landings of Ezo abalone Haliotis discus hannai in relation to climate oscillation and stock enhancement programs 中村, 藍 北田, 修一 浜崎, 活幸 大河内, 裕之 アワビ類の漁獲変動のうち,特にエゾアワビの漁獲量と気候変動(アリューシャン低気圧の強弱の指数ALPIと冬季沿岸表層水温)および種苗放流の関連性を検討した。近年アワビ類の漁獲量は全国的に減少しているが,太平洋北区(エゾアワビ)の漁獲量は冬季水温の上昇にともない増加する傾向がみられた。また,漁獲量とALPIには逆相関関係がみられたが,回帰直線の傾きの絶対値は種苗放流開始以降に小さくなっていた。太平洋北区の漁獲量増加は,最近のALPIの低下によって稚貝の生残率の向上につながる冬季水温の上昇が起こっていること,また種苗の放流効果など複合的な要因に起因しているものと推察された。 In this manuscript, we have summarized the catch trend in Haliotis spp. abalones in Japan, and have placed particular emphasis on the nationwide effects of climate oscillation and hatchery-release programs on catch fluctuation of Ezo abalone Haliotis discus hannai Inshore surface seawater temperature in winter from January to March and the Aleutian Low Pressure Index (ALPI) were examined as explanatory variables for climate oscillation. Recent catches of abalone decreased throughout Japan; however, annual landings of Ezo abalone in the North Pacific region (NPR) tended to increase with winter seawater warming. A negative correlation between catches of Ezo abalone and the ALPI in the NPR was found, but the absolute value of the slope of regression line became small after the initiation of stock enhancement programs for abalones.
