| 内容記述 | Squid jigging survey and tag-release experiments were carried out in the Pacific waters of the eastern Hokkaido and southern Kuril Islands and in the Okhotsk Sea in the late Aug. to early Sept. 1996. CPUEs(number of squid/jig. machine/hour) for Japanese common squid Todarodes pacificus were high in waters of the Pacific inshore and the Okhotsk Sea but very low in the Pacific offshore. On the other hand, neon flying squid Ommastrephes bartrami were caught only in the Pacific offshore but the CPUEs were not high. The modes of dorsal mantle length distributions of T. pacificus were different between around 22cm in the Pacific inshore and 19, 20cm in the Okhotsk Sea. T. pacificus tagged and released in the Pacific waters of the eastern Hokkaido were recaptured in the Pacific waters of the southern Hokkaido, the Nemuro Strait, the Okhotsk Sea and the East China Sea. The ones released in the Okhotsk Sea were recaptured in the Okhotsk Sea and the Sea of Japan. The distributional characteristics of these two squids and the migration routes of T. pacificus to the Okhotsk Sea and from the Okhotsk Sea are discussed. | |||||||||||||||||
