| 内容記述 | An investigation was conducted from 1990 to 1992 in the eastern waters of the Ogasawara Islands which is thought to be one of the spawning grounds of the neon flying squid Ommastrephes bartrami (Lesueur) around Japan. A total of 294 ommastrephidae rhynchoteuthion paralarvae were collected by 146 available tows with three kinds of nets ; bongo nets (70cm mouth diameter) , larval nets (130cm mouth diameter) and large larval nets (200cm mouth diameter). The large larval net was less filtering efficient than the other two types of nets. Oblique or stepwise horizontal towing with bongo nets was the most efficient of the three nets for catching squid paralarvae. It is clear that oblique tows using bongo net was effective for quantitative sampling for O. bartrami paralarvae. | |||||||||||
