| 内容記述 | Physiological activities in relation to temperature were studied regarding brown alga Laminaria longissima Miyabe collected from the upper subtidal zone of Katsurakoi, Kushiro, Hokkaido. Photosynthesis and respiration were measured by the light-and-dark bottle method with blade discs (3.1cm2) of plants collected in February and September. The optimum temperature for photosynthesis was observed around 20℃ in both the February and September plants. There are marked differences in the Q10 values of photosynthesis and heat inhibition of photosynthesis between the February and September plants. The respiratory rates increased with increasing temperature within the range of-1 or 1-30˚C. The present study is for supplying eco-physiological information, which may contribute to the technical development regarding cultivation of laminariales plants. | |||||||||||||||||
