Total lipid content decreased after hatching to the size of 37 mm in body length when the larvae absorbed the yolk. Glycogen and total lipid content increased with start of feeding for a short time and then decreased. After the fish attained about 50 mm in body length, glycogen and total lipid content became to increase again. 2. Neutral lipid content increased rapidly after the start of feeding. But the increase became low while the body length was in the range of about 50 mm to 65 mm and then resumed remarkably. 3. Phospholipid increased markedly when the fish was 50 mm to 70 mm. In this period, total weight of phospholipid was higher than neutral lipid.
