| 内容記述 | Sandfish, (Arctoscopus japonicus STEINDACHNER) is an important species for the coastal and off-shore fisheries in Hokkaido. According to recent surveys, the spawning grounds of sandfish are distributed in three regions; the Japan sea, the Okhotsk sea and the Pacific coasts around Hokkaido. Eight samples were collected from seven spawning grounds and the number of vertebrae (except urostyle), pectoral, anal, first dorsal and the second dorsal fin rays were observed in order to analyse the year-class and areal variations. The mode of such meristic characters varied between year-classes; as vertebrae in Erimo, Muroran and as pectoral, anal and second dorsal fin rays in Erimo, Konbumori and Akkeshi shoals. Also significant differences of mean vertebral number were observed at 5% level of significance between year-classes in the shoals of Erimo, Muroran, Konbumori and Akkeshi. In the regional variations of vertebrae and pectoral and anal fin rays, an increasing tendency from the east to the west was found in the Pacific coast of Hokkaido. So far as the present materials are concerned, the population structure of sandfish around Hokkaido is closely corresponding to the distribution of spawning grounds. The taxonomic distances showed the distinct difference between the Japan sea and other regions, so that no intermingling seems to occur between these regions. | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 1.北海道周辺の主たる7つの産卵場から採集した8標本を用いて,脊椎骨数と胸鰭,臀鰭,第1背鰭,第2背鰭の各鰭条数について、各標本ごとの比較を行なった。その結果,北海道周辺のハタハタの系統群構造は,それぞれの産卵場に対応して系統群が存在すると推察される。2.室蘭,襟裳,昆布森,厚岸の群では、年級群によって計数形質の変異に,統計的有意差が認められた。3.計数形質頻度から求めた分類学的距離より,各海域ごとに,形態的に類似したグループが存在する。日本海側の群は他の海域のグループとは著しく離れて位置しているが,オホーツク海のグループよりも太平洋側の西部のグループに近い関係がみられた。 | |||||||||||||||||
