| 内容記述 | The zooplankton community in size categories and in taxonomic groups was observed at an interval of a few days in spring and 5-10 days in other seasons at a station of the nearshore waters of Niigata City facing the Japan Sea on the north-west from February 1980 to March 1982. Plankton samples were collected two meters above the sea bottom of a 4m deep about 50 m offshore by a set pump up system. Constituents of zooplankton fluctuated seasonally being dominated by calanoid copepods of 1-2 mm size in body length. Gammarid amphipods occurred through the year with a peak in the autumn. The larval forms of the brachyuran and natantian decapods, and hydromedusae also appeared abundantly in the restricted seasons. | |||||
