A of Hosonosu, the Seto Inland Sea. The intra-specific relationships within the fish population consequent to the interdependencies were discussed, based on the stomach contents. (1) The amount of Gammaridea in the stomach of the red sea bream followed the abundance of them in the benthos fauna of the examined area, showing an exactly parallel relationships. And the fish population followed the abundance of Gammaridea in the benthos fauna, also showing a parallel relationship with a time lag. (2) However, when the fish population reached at the peak and became too big compared with the abundance of Gammaridea in the benthos fauna (Aug. 11), the amount of them in the stomach decreased extremely and following phenomena were analyzed in consequence: (i) fall of the index of stomach fullness, (ii) diversification of composition of the stomach contents, (iii) difference of the stomach contents between large sized fish and small ones, (iv) equalization of the stomach contents between the fish at st. A and the other.
