We could recognise from this study the applicability of the results obtained in our preceding study, which was done on the composition of species and the dominant one (Notomastus sp.) in the benthic community, in the polluted water area. Low contents of dissolved oxygen were seen in the water of bottom layer in Kanzaki R., Azi R. and Kizu R., which show especially lower ones in August 1957.
