| 内容記述 | This paper reviews the data of the radioactivity survey on marine organisms in coasts of Japan, carried out during 1977~83 by the members of four Regional Fisheries Research Laboratories, Fisheries Agency, Japan. ¹³⁷Cs activity level in each species of marine organisms was nearly constant during the survey period, when it was an uneventful interval radiologically between large-scale nuclear explosions and Chernobyl nuclear accident. So that, these survey data are useful as the background for radioactivity of marine organisms. Radioactivity levels of important commercial species are reviewed, and 44 species (127 samples) of marine organisms are classified to five groups on the basis of ¹³⁷Cs concentrations. These summarized data shall be utilized to the safety management for the radioactive contamination of marine fisheries resources. | |||||
