| 内容記述 | The feeding habits of four species of elasmobranchii and one of holocephali, that were caught by a trawler off the eastern coast of Aomori Prefecture, were investigated for the recent fishery seasons. Some considerations are made for the adaptation of the teeth organ to the feeding behavior of these species. The results are as follows ; 1. Mustelus manazo BLEEKER : Spotted shark or Hoshizame in Japanese. Small demersal crustaceans like some species of shrimps, crabs and garateas were frequently found in the stomach. The weight of the stomach contents was about 1-7 percent of the total body weight. Upper and lower jaws bear villiform denticles. 2. Squalus acanthias LINNÉ : Dog fish or Aburatsunozame. The individuals less than 30 cm in total length eat small crustaceans, especially Euphausia paci fica, but the larger ones prefer fishes. They have sharp canine teeth in both jaws, and thus the preys are often cut off at their head portion. The size of injested fish is about 10-25 percent of the total length of the predator, and the amounts of the food found in the stomach range from 0.05-20 percent of the body weight. The rations are less from January to June but gradually increase after July to September or October. 3. Squalus brevirostris TANAKA : a species similar to the dog fish or Tsumaritsunozame. The feeding habits resemble the dog fish. The fish exceeds 30 cm in total length. The main food items are fishes, and the amounts of the food in the stomach are 0.5-10 percent of the total body weight. 4. Centroscyllium ritteri JORDAN et FOWLER : Kasumizame. Various small shrimps and small fishes are eaten. The amounts of food range from 0.1-10 percent of the body weight. Both jaws have a zone of small denticles. 5. Bathyalopex barbouri (GARMAN) : a species similar to the elephant fish or Kokonohoshiginzame. The main food items are zygophurae, and amounts of them are about 0.3-2 percent of the total body weight. Jaws bear incisor teeth. The amounts of ration are the least among the five species studied, and this value rarely occurs in the amounts of food of the bottom fishes. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 青森県太平洋岸に産する底生性サメ類5種,ホシザメ,アブラツノザメ,ツマリツノザメ,カスミザメおよびココノホシギンザメの食餌について次の結果を得た.ホシザメ:エビ類,カニ類,ガラテア類のような底着性の甲殻類を好食し,摂餌量は体重の1~7%の範囲にある.歯は平面で敷き石状に並んでいる.アブラツノザメ:全長30cm未満の小型のものの主食は小型甲殻類(ほとんどEuphausia pacifica)であるが,30cm以上になると魚類が主な餌となる.歯は鋭利な刃物状であるため,餌魚(特に頭部)を食い切って捕食することが多い.餌魚の大きさは全長の10~1/4の範囲が多く,餌の量は体重の0.05%から20%にわたる.また摂餌量は1~6月は少ないが,7月以降多くなり9·10月頃最も多い。ツマリツノザメ:餌の組成は前種アブラツノザメの全長 30cm以上のものとよく似ていて,魚類が主な餌であり,餌の量も体重の0.5~10%のところが多い.歯も前種と同型.カスミザメ:小型のエビ類や小型の魚類を好んで食べており,その量は体重の0.1%から10%にわたる.両顎は歯帯を形成する.ココノホシギンザメ:主食はクモヒトデ類であり,摂餌量は体重の0.3~2%と少ない.歯は門歯状である.以上のように捕食者の種類によって餌の内容に違いがあるが,これは各捕食者の歯の形状との深い対応の結果である. | |||||
