| 内容記述 | Histological and histochemical investigations were made on the reproductive cycle of the skipjack. The following division based on the histological observation, was used to determine the seasonal gonad development, namely, early peri-nucleolus stage, late perinucleolus stage, yolk vesicle stage, oil drop stage, primary yolk stage, secondary yolk stage, tertiary yolk stage and migratory nucleus stage. Of particular interest in skipjack vittelinogenesis is the formation of the yolk vesicles, which is of very small size, P.A.S .- positive nature and asynchronism. According to the histological observation and gonad index, on the other hand, the spawning in the Marianas waters season is usually assumed to be August to September, in Palau and Truk Island waters December to January, and in the western Pacific Ocean August to September and December to January. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 西部太平洋におけるカツオの成熟について,1965年から1970年の約6年間に採集された標本魚を用い,生殖腺の成熟過程を組織学的手法により検討し,さらに生殖腺重量,生殖腺指数より季節的,地理的に検討した結果,次のような知見を得た。1. 卵母細胞に最初に現われる卵黄物質は卵黄胞であるが,卵黄胞は極めて小さくヘマトキシリンでは染色されず見分けることができない.しかしながら P.A.S.反応法には強い陽性を示すことにより存在がようやく確認される.次に油球の出現する時期であるが,本種では卵黄球が出現する前に現われはじめる.2. 卵黄卵の発生型は非同時発生型に属する.3. 夏季の北赤道海流域にあたるマリアナ諸島水域で,卵巣卵の成熟している魚群の分布がみられる.これらの魚群は組織学的な成熟状態からみて8月·9月に産卵が行なわれるものと推定される.4. 冬季の北赤道海流域にあたるフイリッピン諸島とマリアナ諸島の中間水域(11°N~19°N,127°E~143°E),および赤道反流域のパラオ·トラック島周辺の水域では卵黄球前期,後期,胚胞移動期の成熟段階の卵巣を有する魚群が分布しており,これらの魚群では12月·1月に産卵が行なわれるものと考えられる.5. 北半球の西部太平洋水域における産卵期は夏季(8月·9月)と冬季(12月·1月)の年2回があるものと推察される. | |||||
