| 内容記述 | In order to deduce the differences of growth and morphology between two types of Undaria pinnatifida (HARVEY) SURINGAR, monthly observations of the alga were carried out at three survey stations located in the outer part, at the entrance and in the inner part of Matsushima Bay on the Pacific Coast of Honshu from December, 1976 to December, 1977. The different stages of first appearance of germlings, vegetative growth, reproduction and disintegration of U. pinnatifida occured at the inner part of the bay one to three months earlier than at the outer part. Observation of thalli greater than 50 cm in total length indicated difference of morphological characteristics between two types grown at the inner part and at the outer part of the bay. This size also the stage at which sporophyll formation is initiated. The three ratios of longest pinnate blade, length of the largest incision and midrib and width of midrib, versus total length distinguished U. pinnatifida in the outer part of the bay from that in the inner part. The morphology of U. pinnatifida at the entrance of the bay ressembled that of the alga in the outer part of the bay to a high degree. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 宮城県松島湾に出現する2型のワカメの生長と形態的特徴の相違点を明らかにするため,外海,湾口,内湾各島周辺部に調査点を定め,1976年12月から1977年12月まで観察と採集を実施した.内湾におけるワカメの出現,生長,成熟,消失の各時期は外海より1~3カ月早く,湾口では比較的外海に近い生育期を示す.外海産ワカメと内湾産ワカメを明瞭に区別し得る形態的要素は最大葉片長,中肋欠刻間の最大長,中肋幅の全長に対する比率で,胞子葉が形成される全長50~70cm以上になってから顕著になる.胞子葉型や中肋長の全長に対する比率も外海産と内湾産とで区別し得るが,生長にともなって変化し,また消失するので両海域産ワカメを識別するのには適当ではない,湾口産ワカメの形態は外海産に似ている. | |||||
