| 内容記述 | The increment of the modal length of the skipjack major group is smaller in the southern areas in the waters adjacent to Japan than in the northern areas of them. This areal difference is assumed as a result of the actual retardation of growth in the southern areas due to the maturation of gonads. The asymptote length according to this assumption was not realistic, exceeding 177 cm. Alternatively, if there is the change of the school in the southern areas in a season, the asymtotoe length are between 74 and 80 cm which correspond the largest members known in the surveys. A representative growth equation is Lt = 76.69 cm [1-exp{-0.60(t-0.31 year) }]. This growth curve is comparable to the previous estimates for skipjack in the eastern Pacific and the southwestern Pacific, and also agrees with the shfit of modal length in the central and southern areas of the western Pacific Ocean. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 日本近海の主なカツオ漁場は,北上回遊の経路に当る南西海域,伊豆·小笠原海域と,分布の北限である五島海域,東北海域である、この4海域で1951~1953年に得られた体長組成を再解析した.主群である体長41-66 cm グループのモードの増加は南の2海域で小さく,北の2海域で大きい.この地域差は南の2海域では成熟により成長が遅れたためと想定できる、しかし,この想定の下ですべての資料を用いて求めた極限体長は177cm以上という非現実的な値となった,回遊経路である南の2海域では大型魚が先行するために見かけ上の成長が遅れると考え,北の2海域の資料のみを用いると極限体長は 74-80cmという過去の調査で得られた最大体長に対応した妥当な値となる、この想定に基づく平均的な成長曲線はLt=76.69cm [1-exp{-0.60(t-0.31) )]である、この結果は既に得られている東太平洋及び南太平洋の成長曲線並びに西太平洋中南部における体長モードの移行現象と一致する. | |||||
