| 内容記述 | Parasitic copepod Pennella sp. occurred at a high rate on the Pacific saury Cololabis saira in the northwestern Pacific waters in 1983. Prevalence, mean intensity and relative density were very high at 59.6%, 4.47 and 2.66, respectively, in the waters off Sanriku in May and June. Following these months, the values of the indices decreased and reached 16.1%, 1.53 and 0.25 in the Northeastern Sea of Japan after October. The parasites were present mainly in the lateral and ventral trunk regions of the fish, especially around the bases of the pelvic and pectoral fins. The frequency of occurrence of the parasite had no significant correlation with body length, condition factor or sexual maturity index of the fish. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 1. 1983年5月~12月に36°~45°N,141°~174˚Eの海域で調査船または当業船により漁獲されたサソマは,甲殼綱,橈脚亜綱,ウオジラミ目のペンネラ(Pennella sp.)による著しい寄生を受けていた.2. ベンネラのサンマへの寄生頻度を示す3つの指標値は,5月に三陸沖合の37˚30'N,156°~166°Eで,prevalence(寄生率)75%以上,mean intensity(被寄生魚1尾当り平均寄生虫数)5.0以上,relative density(検査魚1尾当り平均寄生虫数)4.0以上と著しく高かった.3. 3指標の値は8~9月に千島列島,北海道東の沖合で,prevalence が約25%,mean intensity 1.5~2.5,relative density 1.0 以下と,5~6月に比べてかなり低かった.4. 10月以降に三陸,常磐の沖合,沿岸で漁獲されたサンマでは,各指標値はさらに低く,11~12月ではprevalence 10~25%, mean intensity 2.0 以下, relative density 0.4以下となった.5. ペソネラは主としてサンマの腹部および体側部に寄生し,特に腹鰭,胸鰭の基部に多く見られた.6. 寄生頻度に雌雄差はなく,寄生虫数と体長,肥満度および雌の GSIとの間に相関関係はなかった. | |||||
