| 内容記述 | This paper analyzes catch data of bluefin, Thunnus thynnus, derived from set-net fisheries in the Pacific waters along the Sanriku coast of northeastern Japan, from 1966 through 1987. A peak catch of juvenile bluefin occurs twice a year, i.e. summer (June-August) and autumn (October-December), corresponding to their north/southward migration, while adult bluefin are mainly caught in early summer (May-July) when the fish migrates north. Catches of both juvenile and adult fish show considerable interannual variations with characteristic rhythms of alternate good and poor yields. However, no periodicity in the interannual variations nor significant correlation between the rhythms was found. Closer examinations of available data show that the rhythms in bluefin catches do not depend on biology or stock level but rather on external conditions. An important external condition may be the hydrography particular to the sea along the Sanriku coast, which governs the migration route of the fish. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 春~夏に三陸以南の海域から三陸近海に来遊して漁獲される魚種のひとつの典型としてクロマグロに着目し,三陸沿岸水域における漁況の特徴を明らかにすることを目的に,(1)三陸沿岸主要7港における1966-1987年の定置網によるクロマグロの月別·銘柄別漁獲統計に基づき,(2)漁況の経年変化と季節変化のバターンを解析した.その結果,(3)三陸沿岸水域のクロマグロ漁況は太平洋北部海区クロマグロ資源の量的水準よりも三陸近海に特有の外的条件によって主に支配されていることを示すと共に,(4)海況によって決まる魚群の補給過程の外的条件としての重要性を指摘した. | |||||||||||
