| 内容記述 | The fecundity of spawning Pacific cod (Gadus macrocephalus) was observed in Mutsu Bay, northern Japan. This study found body length and fecundity relationship of the Pacific cod in Mutsu Bay is given by the following equation : Fecundity=3.0854x 10-2x Body Length2.7960. From this equation, the calculated fecundities are approximately 1.8 million at a body length (BL) of 600 mm, approximately 2.8 million at BL 700 mm, and approximately 4.0 million at BL 800 mm. Also, the relative fecundity is about 550 eggs, and this value is stable among the individuals. The body length and fecundity relationship in Mutsu Bay is similar to that in the Canadian coast, and it can be considered that the maturity length of this species mainly influence the egg reproduction between Mutsu Bay and the Canadian coast. | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 本研究は陸奥湾に来遊するマダラ親魚の孕卵数をできるだけ広い体長範囲にわたって調べることを目的とした.その結果,体長と孕卵数の関係は,F=3.0854×10-2×BL2.7960 (F:孕卵数,BL:体長)で示された.この式から推定孕卵数を求めたところ,BL 600 mm の個体で約180万粒,BL 700 mm の個体で約280万粒,BL 800 mmの個体で約400万粒であった.また,相対孕卵数と体長との相関は極めて小さく,相対孕卵数は約550粒と個体間でのばらつきはあるもののほぼ一様な値を示した. |
