| 内容記述 | Nutritional value of minute alga Tetraselmis tetrathele as a food for larvae of Penaeus japonicus was elaborated by comparing it with Chaetoceros ceratosporum in the feeding trials using 100l indoor tanks and 100 t outdoor tanks. Survival rate of the larvae fed T. tetrathele was 54.3% (mean value of 2 tanks) during zoea to mysis stage in 100l tanks, and 62% during zoea stage in 100t tank. These survival rates were slightly lower than those fed C. ceratosporum, but the growth response was similar in both cases. As compared with diatoms, propagation of T. tetrathele was easily manipulated in an outdoor tank all year round in Japan. Therefore, T. tetrathele can be as good as C. ceratosporum as a live food for P. japonicus larvae, and may be a reliable source of a live food for the mass larval rearing in a large outdoor tank. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | クルマエビ幼生用餌料としては,珪藻類(特にキートセロス類)が広く使われている。ところが,その増殖は天候によって影響され,計画的に大量培養することは困難である。そこで,屋外での施肥培養で容易に大量培養できるテトラセルミスT.tetrathele を珪藻類に替わるクルマエビ幼生用餌料として使用するために,その餌料価値をキートセロスC.ceratosporum と比較した。100t水槽を用いた実験室内での給餌試験と,100t屋外水槽での大量培養試験の結果,テトラセルミス給餌区の幼生生残率(ノープリウス期からミシス3期まで)は50%以上であり,キートセロス給餌区と大差はなかった。また,変態の進行にも差は認められなかった。このことから,テトラセルミスはクルマエビ幼生用餌料として適当であると考えられる。 | |||||||||||
