Culture experiments were performed twice under the various water temperatures (18-35℃) and (15-36℃) for the period of20 and 16 days using metamorphosing larvae having average shell length of 182 um and 190 um, respectively. The growth rate increased together with the temperature in the range of 15℃, to 28-30℃, and dropped at the higher temperature in both trials. From these experiments it is concluded that the optimum range, lower and upper limits of seawater temprature for the growth of the post larvae were 27.0-32.5℃, 20℃ and 36℃, respectively.
