| 内容記述 | Free amino acids (FAA) were determined in the hemolymph of three species of freshwater bivalves and fifteen species of marine bivalves. The major FAAs were taurine, glycine, alanine and β-alanine in the marine bivalves, and those in the freshwater bivalves were alanine, sarcosine and valine. The total FAA and taurine contents were slightly higher in the marine bivalves than in the freshwater bivalves. Analysis of principal component revealed that the most marine bivalves were different from the freshwater bivalves in FAA pattern. Among the marine bivalves, the unattached surface dwellers with swimming ability showed different FAA pattern from the bottom burrowers and the attached surface dwellers. | |||||
