| 内容記述 | An epitheliocystis was found in juvenile red sea bream Pagrus sp. Imported from Hong Kong. Histopathological examination showed that morphology and localization of the mature cysts were essentially similar to those reported previously. Morphology of the cyst and staining characteristics of theorganisms in the cyst changed with the stage of the cyst formation, and various stages of the cyst were found in a single host. The process of the cyst formation was classified into 6 stages according to the staining characteristics with Azan stain. These findings suggest that the pathogen of this epitheliocystis is a chlamydia-like organism. | |||||
