| 内容記述 | Specific serum protein induced by estrogen (estradiol-17β) treatment was studied immunologically and electrophoretically in hybrid sturgeon so-called bester. 3-year-old bester weighing about 1.3kg. were used in this experiment. Four experimental fish were injected into the abdominal cavity with 1 mg estradiol-17ß in propylene glycol per kg body weight, and three control fish were injected with propylene glycol. Disc electrophoresis, immunoelectrophoresis, crossed immunoelectrophoresis, Ouchterlony's immunodiffusion method and rocket immunoelectrophoresis were used to identify specific serum protein. Changes in hematocrit value and hemoglobin content of the estrogen-treated fish were similar to those of control fish. Total serum protein level of estrogen treated fish was higher than that of control fish from 5 days after treatment to the end of the experiment period, and the maximum difference between two groups was about 1 g/100 ml at 5 to 10 days after the treatment. Immunological and electrophoretic methods made it clear that (1) estrogen treatment induced 2 specific proteins in serum of bester; (2) content of specific serum proteins reached maximum level on 10 days after the treatment and (3) specific serum proteins had antigenicity relative to 3 proteins of egg yolk of bester. The results of this experiment suggest that these specific serum proteins are the yolk precursor protein (vitellogenin) and divide into three proteins in ovarian oocytes. | |||||
