| 内容記述 | In order to study effects of acidification on salmonid fishes, acid tolerance assay was conducted. Sensitivity to low pH made with sulfuric acid was compared between developmental stages in hime salmon (land-locked sockeye salmon), and 6 salmonid species. Stage sensitivities (24 h LC₅₀-pH) in hime salmon were ranked emerged fries (4.23) >hatched alevins (4.07) >fingerlings (4.06) >eyed embryos (3.82). Species sensitivities of alevins were ranked hime salmon (4.07) >honmasu salmon (3.98)>rainbow trout (3.83)>char (3.70)>brook trout (3.67)>brown trout (3.63). These results suggest that sensitivities to low pH increase according to embryonic development, and anadromous salmonid species such as Oncorhynchus are more sensitive to acidic condition. | |||||
