| 内容記述 | The effect of unilateral eyestalk ablation on spawning and hatching was investigated under tank culture conditions in Penaeus vannamei. Unilateral eyestalk ablation increased maturing shrimp and spawning frequency. Mean number of eggs per spawn from ablated and unablated spawners were not significantly different. On the other hand, mean hatching rate (66.0%) from unablated females was significantly (P<0.01) greater than that (16.9%) from ablated females. This indicates that hatching rate is strongly affected by the unilateral eyestalk ablation in shrimps. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 水槽中で,クルマエビ属 Penaeus vannamei を飼育して,産卵と孵化に与える片側眼柄切除の影響を調べた。その結果,片側眼柄切除は成熟エビの出現割合と産卵の回数を増大させるが,平均産卵数は非眼柄切除雌との間に特に顕著な相違は認められなかった。一方,非眼柄切除雌産出卵の平均孵化率は66.0%と片側眼柄切除雌の16.9%に比べて顕著に(P<0.01)高く,孵化率は片側眼柄切除によって大きな影響を受けることが明らかになった。 | |||||||||||
