| 内容記述 | The research reports summarized in this review on genome analyses of aquatic animals for fisheries include conventional multi-locus DNA fingerprinting techniques, PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) di-nucleotide repeat methods, RAPD (Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA) methods, and SSCP (Single Strand Conformation Polymorphisms) methods. Each method is critically examined, and the practicality of applying these techniques to fisheries science is discussed. To demonstrate the practice of these methods, this report also contains a protocol for DNA extraction and multi-locus DNA fingerprinting of fish genomes currently being used in our laboratory. | |||||||||||
