| 内容記述 | Two-year-old rainbow trout, Salmo gairdneri, were raised with the commercial feed in the experimental pond (15±1℃) in the Inland Station, NRIA from June to the spawning in December. Plasma constituents such as protein, cholesterol, P, Ca, Mg, Zn, and K were measured in June, July, August, October, and the matured season (November and December). The results were as follows; 1. Mean body weight of the fish was 373 g in June and 624 g in October. Females of 544± 222 g (mean±SD) in December yielded 17.9±5.0% eggs of the body weight. Hatchability in 13°C water measured with three samples of the artificially fertilized eggs were 83.1, 76.9, and 51.0%, respectively. 2. Plasma protein levels increased gradually from 3.3±0.5 g/dl in June to 4.8±0.7 g/dl in October, and decreased in the spawning season to 3.5±1.2 g/dl in males and 4.3±1.0 g/dl in females. The female levels were very low if compared with the previously reported results of the University of Washington strain of rainbow trout reared in 9.5°C. 3. The relationship of protein to cholesterol (cholesterol mg/dl=165 protein g/dl- 289, July) was similar to the results of U-W strain rainbow trout. However, protein-P, P-Ca, and P-Mg relationships in the spawning season were similar to the previous results of Amago salmon, Oncorhynchus rhodurus in 15°C rather than those obtained on the U-W strain fish. It was uncertain whether this result was affected by the water temperature and/or malnutritional status of the brood fish before the rearing test started. | |||||
