内容記述 In this paper, a failure criterion of soil with stratified anisotropy is concerned. An analytical procedure is presented in which the stress state of stratified material such as sedimented soil at failure can be obtained under general stress conditions. Some analytical results on stress state of such material at fiilure are also shown. It is shown in this paper that a failure criterion of soil with stratified anisotropy is given from a failure criterion of isotropic soil by using two coordinate transformations. The first transformation is the orthogonal one from the present coordinate system to such coordinate system that the directions of the coordinate axes are taken to be orthogonal and parallel to the direction of sedimentation plane of soil. The second transformation is carried out as follows. That is, the base vectors of the coordinate system are changed in length corresponding to the degree of anisotropy in respective directions with their directions kept unchanged. Then we notice the stress tensor field which is referred to the twice transformed coordinate system by the way described above. Here we assume that the real soil with stratified anisotropy fails when transformed stress tensor field thus obtained satisfies a failure criterion of isotropic soil which we call hypothetically isotropic soil. In this paper, Matsuoka and Nakai's (1974) failure criterion is used as the failure criterion of the hypothetically isotropic soil. It is shown that three kinds of parameters are necessary in order to give the stress state of soil with stratified anisotropy at failure. They are the inclination angle of the sedimentation plane of soil, anisotropy parameter which indicates the degree of anisotropy of soil, and the internal angle of hypothetically isotropic soil. Calculation method of the present failure criterion of stratified soil is also shown in this paper. Using the failure criterion of soil proposed here, some analytical results on the stress state of stratified soil at failure are shown under the both conditions of three different principal stresses and axisymmetric stresses. From the analytical results, the present model gives the following feature under three different principal stress conditions. In the three principal stress condition, the failure criterion shown here is represented by a conical surface with an apex at origin of the coordinate. Some cross sections of this failure surface are shown for various values of inclination angle of sedimentation plane of soil. Some analytical results under axisymmetric stress condition are also shown, in which the influence of the inclination angle of sedimentation plane of soil, anisotropy parameter, and internal angle of friction of hypothetically isotropic soil are shown. Lastly the procedure of determining two experimental constants, that is, anisotropy parameter and internal angle of hypothetically isotropic soil is described.
