| 内容記述 | To improve the principal particulars of hull form at the pre-design stage, is as essential as to optimize directly the hull form itself. Therefore it is desired not only to develop the practical prediction method for improvement but also to store the knowledge on the basic relations between the principal particulars and the ship hydrodynamic performance. Here an attempt is made to investigate the method for improvement the principal particulars of hull form of fishing boats. In the first place, by using practical method to estimate the effective horse power of fishing boats, i. e. the statistical regression formula by Holtrop, Tsuchiya and Oortmerssen the estimated data are compared with the results of tank tests with big scale models and the structural feature of each power formula is discussed. Next the method to improve systematically the principal particulars of hull form is proposed. The process of this method consists of two stages. First in order to improve the principal dimensions of hull a power chart is used in which required values of the effective horse power are drawn with contour lines widely depending on L/B, B/d and Cʙ. Secondly, regarding other items of the principal particulars the analytical coefficients which are obtained by partial differentiation of residuary resistance with respect to αᴇ, CM, Icb, LR etc, are used as the evident indication of improvment of these parameters. Furthermore by applying the results of the above investigation the general relations between the principal particulars of hull form and the effective horse power is examined and the adaptability of the method by the statistical regression analysis is discussed from the standpoint of hull design. | |||||
