From some existing researches, most severe condition for the strength of the cross deck structure is that the ship is sitting in the beam sea. In this condition, the strip method is still effective. But we must consider the wave interaction effect between the sections of demi-hulls. And for the FEM analysis, it requires not only forces but also pressures. In this report, the author proposes two new methods to calculate the hydrodynamic pressures acting on the twin body sections making use of the forced motion pressures on a single body section. The first method is based on the unified theory. The second method is based on the Ohkusu's method of multi-body wave interaction, coupling with the Bessho's relations of reverse time potentials. Both methods assume that the distance between sections is comparable to the ship length.
