Fishing boat and instrument","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_10002_description_5":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"It is well known that fishes in surface layer such as skipjack and tuna have a disposition to stay together around a floating fish aggregation device (FFAD). Recently, some people set FFADs in fishing grounds, and catch fish successfully around these FFADs by pole and line or trolling. In this experiment, four kinds of FFAD models (A-1 type, A-2 type, B-1 type, B-2 type) were constructed and tested in waves and calm waters to find out their behaviors. With respect to the A-1 model, it seems that the coefficient of resistance keeps a constant value while the model is under water. With respect to the A-2 model, the coefficient of resistance become greater as Froude number increases. So this type is not suitable to be set in strong current. With respect to the B-1 model, the coefficient of resistance takes a maximum valuc when the model just sinks into water. With respect to the B-2 model, the coefficient of resistance becomes smaller as Froude number increases. And the coefficient of resistance in waves does not become so much greater.
