| 内容記述 | The resarch on driving a dolphin way by using an ultrasonic wave responder has been performed. The device designed by the authors is named marine transponder and is consisted of a wave memory and a coherent transponder. As soon as a dolphin's ultrasonic sound is detected, it begins to store the digitized waves of the sound in the static RAM. Ultrasonic frequency range: 31-42kHz Memory capacity: 4 kbits Maximum time of a memorized wave: 132ms When the sound ends, the memory stored till then is loaded and transmitted against a dolphin as a warning shot through an ultrasonic transmitter. Synthesized wave discrimination is characteristic of this device. When a transponder discriminates a synthesized wave transmitted by itself from a dolphin's sound, it stops transmission. This transponder is able to respond to a whistle and a pulse-shape click lasting 4ms or more but the synthesized wave discriminator becomes effective only for the sound continuing 26ms or more. The detail of a marine transponder is described in this paper. | |||||
