| 内容記述 | The authors measured the dorsal-aspect target strength of Sergia lucens (body length: 28~41 mm) and Diaphus sp. (body length: 35~40 mm) at three frequencies between 25 and 100 kHz. Live or defrosted specimens were arranged at random in a small net-cage made of synthetic fiber. The sizes of the net-cages were 200 × 200 × 200 mm, 200 mmø × 200 mmh, 200 × 200 mm, and 250 × 250 mm, respectively. The distance from transducers to the net-cage was more than 3m. So, the cross-section of the net-cage was far smaller than the beam cross-section, and the effect of the directivity pattern function of transducers was not significant. The regression of dorsal-aspect target ctrength (TS) of an individual specimen on body length (L) is presented below.
