Fishing boat and instrument","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_10002_description_5":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"A fising boat is equipped with many appendages such as sonar, net recorders for acoustic sounding of fish, bilge keels etc. The appendages usually extend more than a few centimeters outside of the bare hull lines and may sometimes have a bluff shape. In the paper, the influence on ship resistance of each appendages and of bow thruster tunnel are discussed. From the results of systematic tests using the model equipped with all appendages and without appendages, the following conclusions were obtained. 1) The effects of hull appendages on ship resistance may be evaluated by using socalled form factor (K) estimated by the concept of the three dimensional extrapolation. 2) A pair of net recorders equipped with hull bottom has much significant effect upon the ship resistance because of its bluff shape. 3) The resistance of the model with bow thruster tunnel opened is about 3 percent greater than that of the model with bow thruster tunnel closed at design
