| 内容記述 | The bottom environment which is important for bivalves on the sandy beach is possibly influenced by construction of artifitial structures and the inflow of river water. Particularly, the accumulation of mud is most serious for bivalves. Fine sand and mud were mixed from 0% to 15% of mud rate, or were sifted with a series of sieves. Burrowing behaviour of juvenile Meretrix lamarckii and Ruditapes philip. pinarum was observed for these substratum. The burrowing rate of Meretrix lamarckii was abruptry lowered at more than 10% of mud rate and less than 53μm of granule size. Ruditapes philippinarum showed little influence of granule size. It was considered that the reason why Meretrix lamarckii didn't burrow on these substratum wasn't the presense of organic matter, but mechanical character of the substratum. | |||||
