| 内容記述 | A hydraulic model test was carried out of Urasoko Fishing Port, Okinawa Prefecture, surrounded by a reef for the purpose of designing the breakwater and calming the basin. A solid model of the port and it's surroundings of 1/100 scale covered with cement mortar was made in a wave tank. Acting the wave against the model, measurements were made of waves and currents near the reef. Maximum height and 2.5 m (limit wave height of entering and leaving boats) were used for the tested wave dimensions. As the result of the test on the present improving plan, there will be no trouble of waves, the height of which does not exceed 0.2m in the basin. Maximum wave height at the site of the breakwater under construction was 1.0m from ENE, and maximum set-up of water level was 1.2m. For future improvement of the entrance, it should be better to stretch groins to the reef edges on both sides of the truff. | |||||
