Aquaculture and fishing port","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_10002_description_5":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"A plan is going to realize, which is to create fishing grounds by utilizing upwelling generated by artificial structures setting on the seabed. But only a few studies on the effectiveness of \"the upwelling generation structure\" under stratified field have been carried out. Therefore authors developed multi-level density flow model which is applicable to the stratified flow fields and discussed the validity of the numerical model in comparison with experimental results. The experiments were done in the two-layered flow with the structure shaped like a buttress. The main results obtained in this analysis are as follows. 1 Calculated values of the maximum height of the interface are in good agreement with the experimental results in two dimensions, but a little smaller in three dimensions. 2 Other calculated values (area between measured and initial interface and area of mixed layer) are in good agreement with measured values. 3 This model cannot simulate the internal hydraulic jump. The hydraulic structure of upwelling in stratified flow field calculated using this numerical model is as follows. The flow from the upper stream hit against the structure, and that generates upward flow. It makes interface shallower (upwelling). The increase in the height of the interface is in proportion to internal Froude number (Fdi), but reaches to the platou for Fdi>1. Behind the structure the flow passing over it comes across the flows pssing beside it, that creates the upward flow near the seabed. This upward flow does not have enough energy which makes interface shallower again.
