| 内容記述 | Age and growth of loliginid squid, Heterololigo bleekeri, were examined based on growth ring counts of statoliths from 232 squids taken in the southwestern Japan Sea. Statoliths were embedded in synthetic resin and ground to count growth rings. Assuming that the growth rings formed daily, length-at-age data obtained showed that : life span may be approximately one year; growth rates vary widely between individuals, especially in males; the average growth rate of male was higher than that of female in the latter half of life; and growth of the squid was expressed by the logistic curve. The growth equations were shown as follows, ML = 299 / (1 + e³·⁹⁹⁻⁰·⁰¹⁹⁴ ͭ ) for male and ML = 213 / (1 + e⁴·⁷⁰⁻⁰·⁰²⁵⁸ ͭ ) for female, where ML is mantle length in mm and t is time in days. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 日本海西南海域で採集されたヤリイカの日齢査定を行い,成長について検討した.日齢査定は平衡石を用い,それに形成される成長輪を日周輪とみなして査定を行った.また日齢査定の結果に基づいて,成長を推定した.本種の成長式はロジスティック曲線で示された. 日齢と体長との関係から,ヤリイカの生存期間(寿命)は約1年とみられ,生存期間後半における雄の成長は雌に比べて良いことが明らかとなった.ヤリイカの成長は,個体による差が大きく,特に雄における成長の個体差は大きい. | |||||
