| 内容記述 | Seasonal changes of chlorophyll a, and primary productivity were investigated during the period from May 1983 to May 1984 in Sijiki Bay, western Kyushu. Chlorophyll a was determined fluorometrically and spectrophotometrically, and primary productivity was measured by in situ light and dark bottle oxygen method. Concentration of chlorophyll a varied between 0.1 and 4.6 μg/l. Horizontal distribution was uniform in the whole area of the Bay. Maximum concentration was noticed near the bottom during stratified seasons. Mean chlorophyll a concentration in the euphotic zone showed remarkable seasonal change with the maximum in autumn and spring. Maximum values of the net productivity through the year ranged 1.8 to 20.5 mgC/mgChla/h, and were observed at the layers between 1.5 and 3.5m deep. These values were higher than the previous ones measured in the oceanic waters of Japan. Daily net production in the water column was varied between 0.04 and 2.04 gC/m²/day with a mean of 0.80 gC/m²/day. It was nearly equal to the previous values observed in the Japanese coastal waters. Calculated annual mean phytoplankton biomass was 8.7 tons in carbon and the annual primary productivity was estimated to be 2,860 tons in carbon in the whole body of water of Shijiki Bay. | |||||

| 内容記述 | 西九州の一小湾である長崎県平戸島志々伎湾における植物プランクトン現存量と基礎生産量を把握するため,1983年5月から1984年5月にかけてクロロフィルa の測定及び酸素法による光合成量の現場測定を実施した.志々伎湾におけるクロロフィル a 濃度は 0.1~4.6μg/l の範用にあった. 湾内における クロロフィルa の水平分布はほぼ一様であった.鉛直的には夏季の成層期には底層で高かった.有光層の平均クロロフィルa濃度は季節的に変化し、春と秋に多かった. 表層における単位クロロフィルaあたりの光合成速度の極大は1.5~3.5m層にみられ,その値は 1.8~20.5mgC/mgChla/h と外洋域に比べて高かった.水柱あたりの純生産量は 0.04~2.04gC/m²/day (平均0.80gC/m²/day)であり,沿岸域におけるこれまでの測定値と同様であった.志々伎湾全体の平均的植物プランクトン現存量は,炭素量に換算して8.7トンであり,また年間基礎生産量は炭業量で2,860トンと見積られた. | |||||
