As a result, it was clarified that growth of shell length (SL)/day of >100 μm was obtainable by replacing aquarium water more than 30 times/hour. In addition, the applicable stocking densities were as high as 500,000 ind./m2 for ca. 3 mm SL, 200,000 ind./m2 for 5 mm SL and 100,000 ind./m2 for 8 mm SL.
