| 内容記述 | In previous papers, the authors described the influences of the load on combustion and on indicated thermal efficiency and the practicable limit of blending ratio of C fuel oil when nonheated A fuel oil and A/C blended fuel oil were supplied to a small-sized four-stroke-cycle diesel engine. In order to save fuel costs, it is necessary to heat the fuel oil and to increase the blending ratio of C fuel oil. But on fishing boats, there is little space for heating devices and little spare capacity of heat sources, so that the heating temperature of fuel oil is required to be as low as possible. To find the minimum heating temperature and to make clear the influences of heating of fuel oil, experiments were carried out on the condition of light and medium load, supplying A fuel oil and six kinds of heated A/C blended fuel oil to the diesel engine. The experiments clarified the effects of the heating of fuel oil on the improvement of indicated thermal efficiency, on the decrease of ignition lag and on the repression of the mean rising rate of pressure and some other influences. As a result, a limit temperature curve was obtained by which the minimum heating temperature of A/C blended fuel oil could be determined. | |||||
