| 内容記述 | In order to clarify the application of enzymes to the diagnosis of hepatic diseases, the activity of malic dehydrogenase (MDH) was determined in the various homogenized tissues of yellow tail Seriola quinqueradiata and red sea bream Pagrus major. And the amount of release of the enzyme from the liver after the injection of CCl4 was measured with the perfusion. MDH activity was detected in all the tissues: liver, kidney, spleen, heart, intestine, pyloric caecum, stomach, and muscle tissues. The highest level of specific activity was found in the heart, and that of tissue activity in the liver. The release of MDH from the liver was induced markedly by the injection of CC14. These facts suggest that MDH in the fish serum may be useful in diagnosing fish liver diseases. | |||||||||||
